@Circuitfantasist I very much understand the rise and fall of the electronic industry in your place, because it is very similar to my city's industries (not just electronics, but across the board, except the finance and property sector). Many universities four-year electrical engineering programs. This is great if have the desire, time and money to become an electrical engineer, but there are few schools that teach electronics at the appropriate level to train technicians.
