The largest changes are for narrow width devices and/or with coarse pointing devices (i.e. primarily touch-based devices). There is some separation added for everyone else (i.e. desktop), which is, potentially, more than doubling the existing spacing, but it's not all that much in total).

@tripleee I think the most important thing is to ensure the ID doesn't get reused by SD. It can be kept in metasmoke for historical reasons, of course. (Again, this is without looking at the source code.)

@Makyen Turns out there's a huge difference between "You hit a deer" and "a deer hit you". Grandparents had a couple incidents where stupid deer jumped directly into the side of their car. That gets covered under the "not your fault" part of your insurance, apparently.
