@metasmoke I done broke it... :/

1:07 AM
@Makyen I don't see off-hand how I can revert my recent watch which seems to have broken during the last build (above).

@JeffSchaller You didn't break it. The issue is that a domain in another list no longer resolves.
I've pushed what should be a fix. It's in CI testing now.

@SmokeDetector It is FP. It seems correct that the site is corrupted and abandoned; but the post isn't spam or abusive, only a complaint about the site. --- I don't know that we should put so much weight on the URL when there was no other indicator of a bad post - "URL in Title" is reasonable for many questions where one asks about a specific website.

@ArtOfCode It seems there could be some benefit. At a minimum, some users will feel better about manually raising the "right" flag. I think the main objection to R/A flagging has been with respect to autoflagging and developing logic to automatically choose the "right" flag for the post, which this isn't. Giving humans the option to raise a rude/abusive flag seems reasonable, or at least not unreasonable, so doesn't feel like something that should be actively blocked from being developed.
At that point, it becomes a question of where to allocate developer time, but that's always been something open for people to choose to spend their time on things which interest them (or where needed for high priority items). If someone already has a solution available to add the feature, or even if someone just wants to put the effort in, I don't see why we shouldn't support a PR. Time to review the PR can be allocated as reviewers see fit, as it's not something which is a high priority.
Obviously, before it can be tested or deployed, there's the gating issue that work needs to be done to update dependencies in order for us to be able to build MS, due to the mimemagic issue, which currently prevents both CI and actual builds. (cc for prior to messages: @Xnero @gparyani)

@gparyani I'd assumed that you had, but given that you were pinging me for things I would automatically be notified about by GitHub, I assumed that you wanted to be pinged for such things.

No problem, please continue with the pings. By the way, I didn't think you'd be notified by my issue comments there, as you weren't participating in the issue prior.
I didn't realize that all maintainers are notified even if they aren't explicitly subscribed to issues.

@gparyani In most cases, any addition to an Issue or PR is sent as a notification to everyone watching the repository.

@gparyani You got me interested, so I looked for some numbers: I've received 16,120 emails about SmokeDetector watch/blacklist PRs; >850 emails about failed builds on SD and MS; >4,900 emails about Charcoal GitHub Issues and PRs where I'm not directly participating, and about 3,400 GitHub emails for Issues and PRs where I'm directly participating. That doesn't include tens of thousands of other notification emails for Issues and PRs in other projects I'm watching, but not directly participating.
I'm reminded that I'm very glad I aggressively filter my incoming email into appropriate folders.

@ThomasWard No, that's not good. :; The CircleCI rails-tests got a bit further, but still had lots of failures.
OTOH, I'm not surprised that there's still issues. An expectation that such issues were likely was, of course, why I wanted to have those two commits in a single PR, so we'd know if the combination actually resulted in being functional.

well we know it's not functional so we can reject both PRs

@ThomasWard Yeah, that's possible. We may need to see what's necessary in order to dump any config cache which might be in use.

is there a way for me to manually do a deployment of the tests locally, make sure MySQL is up, etc. and run the GH actions locally?
i'm assuming these're for the most part handled as dockerfile tasks

It's definitely possible to get the code at the head of the PR. From that you could try building. I really haven't looked at everything that's involved in building, so I can't really say more. The command line I use to fetch the commits in a PR and create a local branch for that version of the code is:
git branch -D PR-$ARGS || true; git fetch Charcoal-SE pull/$ARGS/head:PR-$ARGS
with $ARGS being the PR number and "Charcoal-SE" the name I use for the remote associated Charcoal's repository.
Hmmm... I probably could have made the new PR a bit cleaner by fetching the commits for the other two PRs, then cherry-picking them into the new branch, rather than merging them into a new branch. Oh well.
