Hello

@Rob The accuracy of your flagging conditions, when looked at across all of your conditions combined, needs to be > 99.75%. MS runs a check for it for every user periodically. I just had MS re-run the check, which is why it says your flagging conditions are, again, disabled.

@Makyen Does SD autoclear on FP, or does it take a Charcoal admin to withdraw?

4:18 PM
@Machavity Autoclear what?

@Makyen Flags. Smokey didn't clear on this post. Was hoping to catch someone before another mod got it, but it was declined

user435118
@Machavity SD doesn't clear fp autoflags and AFAIK admins won't do so either

user435118
It would involve admins getting the user's access tokens

@Machavity MS can't retract flags. It's not a capability that exists in the SE API. Individuals have to do that themselves. That's the primary reason that they are pinged when there's FP or NAA feedback on an autoflagged post.
We'd like to be able to have MS retract flags, but the feature request to add the capability to the SE API has never been acted upon.

@AndrewT. Charcoal has a policy that we don't comment on posts brought to our attention by SD, unless we are otherwise familiar with the site.
Mar 4 '18 at 21:33, by ArtOfCode
New policy: Please don't comment on posts Smokey reports unless you're familiar with the site.
If you're not familiar with the site, then something like requesting disclosure be added (which was the exact issue that caused the blowup which resulted in that policy) should be done by raising a custom mod-flag and explicitly informing the mods of the site about the problem.

@Machavity If you agree that the Autoflag is incorrect you need to go to the MS link and clear it here, then go to the website and withdraw your flag also you probably want to upvote the post to undo your downvote (and assist if someone else doesn't get in there and do that too) - in theory there could be an 'Agree Checkbox' that reversed everything, but there is not.

@Rob Retracting a flag undoes your downvote

@Rob I'm not sure what you mean by an "Agree Checkbox" which will reverse everything. MS can not retract flags, because it's not possible to do that through the SE API. That's a choice SE has made. The project requested that capability be added to the SE API a long time ago, so it can be used in this exact situation.
In order to retract flags, you require the user's actual credentials, not just an SE API token. If you're meaning that it could be done in a userscript, then yes, that is possible.

Q: Allow retracting flags from the API

UndoFor a project I'm working on, it'd be nice to be able to retract flags through the API. We allow people to retract flags from the web. Could this functionality be extended to the API? @Rob Most of us already did (including me), and I think it doesn't really matter if it has 50 or 150 upvotes.
