12:00 AM
@Makyen Thomas said that MS backup is performed on 0:20 utc; you may want to delete a user around that time to see if the patch is effective.

please don't

@user12986714 I'd rather not. I've already caused other people enough work due to an unthinking action.

@ArtOfCode looks like it accidentally was erased by my script while I was tinkering with it earlier... oops... this is what happens when we move from 'prototype' to 'fully fledged backup'. Let me see if I have the MS dump locally from a while ago when i started
@ArtOfCode closest backup I have is 06/14 a month ago :/
the backups since got blasted by accident with a mistyped glob in my ancillary box
we can restore partial logs I think if there's any in there

@ThomasWard okay, when was the backup script actually disabled? If it was running nightly up to a few days ago then there should be some on Undo's S3

@ArtOfCode not entirely sure
it's been 'disabled' for some time, i think i disabled the actual call last week
check with Undo to see if it's on Undo's S3

Makyen/EC2-linux: Executing automatic scheduled reboot.

I do have backups SINCE makyen fubar'd

so any flag logs between then and... clicks a button ... ten minutes from now will be preserved

@ThomasWard cc @Undo

So, the worst case is that we have lost an additional month + 1 week (i.e. we have to go all the way back to where we previously restored from)?

12:08 AM
Also might be possible to get some data from token store logs? If we have them?

@ArtOfCode @Makyen @Undo I did an extra chaos. I created a secondary script that does a full nonsanitized DB dump every 4 hours and stores on the ancillary box
so while that is also done daily at ~00:00, it also does a full backup every 4 hours locally for unsanitized

@Makyen Worst case is a month loss

so we have 4h granular restore points
and gzips it :P
@ArtOfCode do you need me to upload my 6/14 backup file i(unsanitized) somewhere for you to access?
for a partial restore

@ThomasWard yeah, let's have it, just in case we have nothing newer

ok give me a moment i'll upload it to my google drive and then give you and the rest a link for download via Keybase
because E:SECUREINFO
... actually may use my nextcloud
@ArtOfCode data sent to you via Keybase

Having now tried it, for me, on this page, the route fails with an error "undefined method `name' for "AS-54113":String", which should be an easily fixable error. The route does work for me on the couple of domains I've tried which do not have an existing AS tag. (cc @thesecretmaster)

@Daniil can you please show me the output of git remote -v

Okay
So what you will want to run is the command git remote set-url origin https://github.com/Daniil-M-beep/SmokeDetector.git
That will update your origin remote (i.e. the place that the code will be pushed to) to your fork

user435118
10:52 AM
Ok

user435118
I created a new branch

user435118
What next?

Cool, and then once you've created the new branch and are currently on it (use git status and git log to make sure that you're on the new branch and that your commits have been transferred over), you can run git push and it should push your changes to a new branch of your fork
Then, you need to head to the github page for your fork (github.com/Daniil-M-beep/SmokeDetector), and switch to the new branch that you just created

user435118
When pushing it says I need to push upstream?

(that will specify the username)
Then try running the push upstream command again
