@DavidPostill I think there might be some confusion. The k feedback you're replying to was for this post [MS]. That doesn't appear to be a post which you would make the comment I'm replying to.
@DavidPostill Ahh.. I think I see. You're replying about the manually reported question [MS]. In which case, I agree with your comment.

@Makyen See, I'm not the one confused for a change :)

...I'm dumb
I added logging to time the historical accuracy query, so I needed a pre- and post- query timestamp... so, naturally, I called the variables pre and post and totally overwrote the already-existing post variable that contained, y'know, the actual post.

so how goes Metasmoke now
@ArtOfCode RE: github.com/Charcoal-SE/metasmoke/pull/742 - didn't you fix this somewhat with the indexes to increase speed?

to an extent, yes

just a thought but if the indexes + the SSD I/O makes it more effective now, then we don't need to adjust things necessarily

11:46 PM
it's still a 5 second query, so it wouldn't hurt to optimize it more
not sure that's the right approach, though, because it needs another query to work
