@Makyen Is it possible to obtain a recent ms database dump or something containing similar data? The dump I currently have does not contain the most recent 15%, or 30k, posts, which are quite a bit of important training data. I think this might be possible via the js data explorer which provides cvs download, but for now I have no idea how to use it.

I know having one would help you. We'd like to make one available for you. Other people have also requested a current dump. Please understand that they are just not available for now, but the issue is being worked on.

@user12986714 I, generally, recommend against using the JS data explorer. It may have been improved in the couple of years since I tried it out, but I don't think it has been significantly. My experience was both frustrating and a bit embarrassing. (My use of it crashed MS, twice, IIRC; I had to ask Undo to do a hard reboot, twice.)
IIRC, in addition to the user interface being a significant pain to deal with, it was also frustrating because it really wasn't willing to return a significant amount of data (all queries for larger amounts of data failed (i.e. more than a few hundred, or a thousand lines)).
@user12986714 I believe I already suggested that as a possible method of (slowly) getting post data.
@tripleee That looks nice. I take it you moved?

@Makyen Yes, but docs about the interface appear to be non-existent

yup, just got the heys yesterday and moved the beds so we could spend the night here

@user12986714 But it works. I did some queries earlier today, as part of moving FIRE (and AIM) to using it.

@Makyen But... the issue is more about how to use it at all; query structure, table structure, output format, etc

4:25 AM
@tripleee Nice! I always find moving a pain, but it beats having to deal with the construction (facade renovation) you've mention is going to be happening at the old place for the next 6 months.
@user12986714 Yep, it's definitely non-trivial without the GraphiQL Data Explorer. I've been, completely, using a query I devised while the GraphiQL Data Explorer was functional.

well it's also cheaper here and more suitable for our current needs (two kids moved out since the previous move, but more importantly, now everyone gets their own room) so it was about time for this change anyway, the acute problem just triggered us to start thinking about expediting the decision

Oh that's unfortunate... and I don't think a dump will be available in the near future :-/ (Integration with PM expected in very near future)

I have some old dumps lying around, I could upload them to the EC2 instance, have you had a chance to look around?

@user12986714 Up to what date do you have data?

@ArtOfCode FYI: It looks like autoflagging is still very slow (or non-functional). This post was deleted 8 minutes after being reported, but no autoflags had been raised. I'm aslo not seeing any flagging failures on it, so either the autoflagging had not yet been tried, or MS wasn't going to autoflag it. The last autoflag that was raised was 16 hours ago (8 hours prior to your recent MS deploy).
There have been some posts which should have been autoflagged since then.

speaking of rules which will never graduate ... metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/reason/162
it does produce a steady stream of posts which would not otherwise have been reported
looking at metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/domains/60058 perhaps a stronger version of that rule would look if the site itself also shares the same IP address as the name servers
metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/reason/161 has a higher TP rate, but is actually less useful
to the point where I'm thinking we could actually disable it

or use it as a negative indicator, i.e. hits which have suspicious NS both in title and body are more likely to be FP
(for the record, "suspicious NS" looks for the very specific pattern where all name servers for a domain are on the same IP address)
(which is effectively the same as having a single name server, and putting it twice just to satisfy the requirement that many hosting providers have that you need at least two)
