my general routine is if something "looks spammy" and doesn't already have details about the domain in metasmoke, I add the whois information, watch the NS, and watch the IP(s)

halflife has some of that information but I do some command-line work as well; I have a simple shell script to return all the results with one command

including searching Halflife's history for previous hits

once I get this approved I hope to return to develop Halflife again for a bit, probably with some work in these areas
