At this point, my hypothesis is that it's a problem on SE's end of the SE API. Although, I still need to check recent commits on SD.

The standby instances are all almost up to date due to me pulling them all a few hours ago in an effort to determine if SD was the cause of the "site is required" error.
Which reminds me, I need to pull them all past the patch for not showing that error.

@Das_Geek The detection reason was "Pattern-matching website in answer". That will be in findspam.py. You'll need to look there. To test it, you'll need to use !!/test, or one of that command's permutations.

Just found that on the wiki lol. Sorry for the clutter
@Makyen The "pattern matching" is what made me confused. It matched a site that was listed as #notspam
Maybe whitelist it so it's not checked?

fp feedback received

@Das_Geek You'd need to check to see if the #whitelist tag affects that reason. As far as I know, it's not implemented across the board on all reasons. I haven't checked to see on which reasons it's implemented.

Gotcha. Don't know where the list of exempted tests is, just that #whitelist will skip "most" checks

There won't be a list. You'd have to check the implementation of each detection.

9:28 PM
I thought I'd implemented it across all domain/ASN checks, but maybe not

Neither @Das_Geek nor I have actually checked. I was speaking hypothetically without having looked at the code for it or experimented.
It sounds like adding the domain to #whitelist should work then.

@Das_Geek Why watch that when you gave FP feedback?

@Makyen I gave a reason on MS and GitHub. The post wasn't spam (wanted to solve an API request issue), but the site itself is for illegally streaming movies/shows

Is that sort of "pre-emptive" watching discouraged? It was my understanding that pretty much anything was fair game as long as it's just watching, and I wouldn't say it's unlikely for links to a streaming service to appear as spam later on.
