@SmokeDetector This is plagiarized from here (thanks Machavity for checking) , but the OP has previously responded to comments by making changes in their answer, so we're continuing to nudge the OP in the direction of making an acceptable answer. Machavity left a comment directing them to the referencing requirements.

@Kulfy This page should have a reasonable description of how to do so. If it's missing anything, or doesn't adequately explain, please tell me.

7:14 PM
@Makyen I've tried about 5 times but I'm getting Current password is invalid and I'm 100% sure that it's correct.

@Kulfy On what page are you getting that?

@Kulfy Are you trying to log in with a username and password, or with the "Login with Stack Exchange" button?
@Kulfy Are you actually getting it on that page, or are you then clicking on "sign in" to get to this page?

@Makyen I visited this page. it redirected me to this after clicking on Authenticate w/ write access. And then finally to this page which says We need your current password to confirm your changes.
Is it necessary to fill?
Am I signed up for autoflagging
?
May be yes. I am getting logs

7:27 PM
@Kulfy Us having you land on that user edit page, is probably not a good end to that sequence. Please go to this page again. Does it show a checkbox?

Is it OK?

@Kulfy Yep. That's good. You should be good to go. Sorry this flow is confusing. We should restructure it so it's much cleaner.

@Makyen That was confusing indeed.

@Kulfy Unfortunately, it's not a tech-stack I'm all that familiar with, but I'll see what I can do to make it cleaner/less confusing.

What is FIRE?

@Kulfy I've learned it's a userscript -- github.com/Charcoal-SE/userscripts/blob/master/fire/… -- that "adds a button to SmokeDetector reports that allows you to provide feedback & flag, all from chat"

@Kulfy FIRE is a userscript. It adds a fire button, 🔥, to Smoke Detector reports on chat pages. Clicking on the button opens a popup which shows the post and has buttons to give feedback or feedback+flagging. It also shows the why information, which contains the reasons why the post was caught. ... ninja'd

7:45 PM
FIRE: Feedback Instantly, Rapidly, Effortlessly. I see.

@Kulfy This page lists the userscripts which we have. You can also look through the GitHub repository. For feedback & viewing in chat, I find FIRE and AIM to be the ones I use the most.

Interesting.

@SmokeDetector @Kulfy I'm not seeing what makes this one TP. What am I missing? I agree that it's not good that the long URL contains campaign and tracking information (I've submitted an edit), but that URL just looks like what the URL the OP actually went to (i.e. it looks like they just copied it from their URL bar). The campaign tends to indicate that it was likely a Google search link.

@Makyen I was trying to figure out how things work. Accidentally clicked on tp and unsure how to undo my actions. Apologies from a newbie.

@Kulfy Currently, FIRE doesn't allow you to replace existing feedback. You will need to either go to the metasmoke page and click on the new feedback you want to give (i.e. on the checkmark or X in "Add feedback: ✓ ✗" ), or provide the new feedback in chat.

Now ok?
