@double-beep Unfortunately, I'm not able to duplicate this. I'm not really sure what's being described. Both FIRE and AIM get their primary deletion information from the MS API. FIRE can get new info from the SE API, but it only does so as you mouseover or click on the FIRE button. AIM only gets info from the MS API, which will indicate any post is deleted if it's been deleted while MS was watching it, but is then undeleted.
Basically, MS doesn't watch for undeletion and has no way to be informed that it happened. If you're talking about the deleted formatting of SD reports in chat, that's mostly done by AIM, but FIRE does mark some things as deleted, on occasion, in some circumstances.
FIRE does try to re-fetch all information when the popup is re-opened, so that will often update the data, if there was some problem in obtaining it the first time.
For the specific post which was being asked about, MS does not show it as deleted, so I'm not sure what was going on.

I'll try to take a screenshot, I think you misunderstood the issue a bit

A screenshot would help. As I said, I'm not sure what the issue was. Much of what I wrote was just general comments about how FIRE and AIM work, and a stab in the dark of one possible meaning.
Note that if the SE API encounters an error and returns no data, then FIRE may consider the post to be deleted, because returning no data is the way the SE API indicates something is deleted. This may be what you encountered, and could be fixed by re-opening the popup.

@SmokeDetector (cc @Undo) The FP feedbacks on this post did not generate an other flag from MS to notify moderators that there might be a problem with the post being deleted by spam flags from SD. I've manually raised a custom flag about the post probably being deleted by spam flags, when it should have just been closed.

perhaps the post was deleted after FP feedbacks were sent? (How did you raise one BTW? You don't have access to deleted posts. Did you do through API?)

Deleted a good 10 minutes before the first FP feedback, though shouldn't matter

@Undo Thanks. Sounds good. It's reasonable to delete it (although, it should have just been closed and Roomba'd). In addition, the user is unregistered, so the impact of deleting it is light. My main issue for pinging you was to let you know there was at least one path which results in the post not getting the other flag, which was contrary to my expectations.

@Makyen Don't know what happened there. Need to dig through logs, might be something interesting in there

@double-beep While I've been intending to add custom flags to a userscript, specifically so I can raise a custom flag on deleted posts I can't normally see, I haven't gotten around to finishing the implemention, yet. So, I just raised a custom flag on another question and linked the one that the flag was about. When I do so, I always start the flag text with something like: "This flag is about this other question".
@Undo Thanks for looking into it.
