@Makyen some address detective work says that it might be you who just sent me a payment?

[open] Hi o/

@, you should recognize my domain. I've paid.

Yup, I see it, all marked off :)

I don't know what my phone did with that edit

Not what it was meant to

12:21 AM
Ha

I've opened a PR to detect variants of Donald Trump in usernames. Comments/suggestions/criticisms/objections are welcome.

Are we trying to blacklist the US President from SE?

totally

New life goal: get elected president so that all Andys are flagged by smokey
Don't crush my dreams!

@ArtOfCode I did, but it should have shown the email address I'd provided, or at least I'd changed the PayPal settings such that it should have shown it. Sorry if it didn't work out that way.

12:25 AM
@Makyen I sent an email to the address that showed up for me - wanna ping one back quick just to confirm?

Rip, missed deadline

@FrankerZ If you can email me details, like, now, I'll add you on :) Needs name, email, phone, international address, and the statement "I have read the terms and accept them; or, if I have not read them, I accept that if I don't like how this process pans out it's entirely my own fault." (once you've read or not read the terms, of course)

@ArtOfCode Replied.

12:44 AM
@Makyen All done, cheers :)

@ArtOfCode Just sent one your way.

@Catija I see you've already found it in the sheet... it's all marked done :)

:D I was looking before I pinged you and it wasn't there so I wasn't sure. :P

@Catija Heh, that was time spent marking the invoice paid and sending the email out to you instead :P

Ah! Just saw it. :D
Looks like a good start :D

I don't see any link/way to pay via the invoice. And there's only a link in the second email
Just to double check.. you want us to pay via the paypal link you sent in the second email, correct?

@Rob Link in the second email is the one you want. I believe it's technically possible to get to the invoice and pay from it without a link, which is why I sent that one out.

In the future, you could send invoices right through paypal
It allows them to pay, and you can copy/paste invoices to multiple recipients. Makes it an easy process

@FrankerZ yup, but invoices have fees associated with 'em, which is why I didn't this time around
I think the total cost I calculated for it was about £5... not huge, but money that can go towards stickers instead :)

1:42 AM
@ArtOfCode because they are considered "paying for good/services - business transaction"

Yeah, this is just a gift... hence the 12 p fees :P

I paid like $0.58 in fees

12p? That's more than I thought O.o

That's why I padded mine a bit... that was paying with a bank account, not credit card.

@Catija Huh, I only paid $0.02 USD in fees. I wonder if that's because I'm a "trusted PayPal user" or whatever from using PayPal for business in the past.

@Mego How much you send determines how much you pay in fees.

My previous suggestion about SE integration.
x4up.org is an extremely active spammer in the past few months,
And it's unlikely a spam-and-go domain - it would cost more to register a new domain like this
If it's submitted to SE so it's blocked by SpamRam, that's a good job.

@bwDraco who needs CU amirite fellas

lol
Well, it was IP socking. CheckUser is only for those who create multiple accounts for abusive purposes, and has very stringent requirements due to privacy concerns.
If the user never created any accounts... it's generally straightforward, requiring only IP rangeblocks to address.
