I recently found myself under a deluge of profane comments by a user who didn't appreciate my negative feedback (and people wonder why users often don't comment when down-voting). There has been at least a dozen or more profanity-filled comments posted by this user, addressing me.

If you're under a real storm your best bet is probably to flag the post - not the comment - with a custom flag explaining the problem or pinging a mod in chat.

@ByteCommander That pattern looks like it's already caught by Pattern-matching website in answer and Pattern-matching website in body; append -force if you really want to do that.
@SurajRao I searched MS and nothing - however a few comments he made on GIS, including one that said "I posted the wrong link" followed by a link the same as posted by another account left me a bit sus he's trying to promote a GIS product. That link belonged to the company on his profile.

A suspension won't do that. Caching can't be blamed. Voting correction would leave another reputation event. The only thing that takes rep and doesn't leave an event in the public history is red flag deletion.
