@angussidney Seems like a good idea. One potential problem is the "few unique characters" check. If posts consisting almost entirely of MathJax would trigger that when all MathJax is dropped from consideration, that would create a lot of false positives. Probably that won't be the case since code-only answers on SO would have the same problem, but I mention it just in case.
On another note: Thanks y'all for your awesome work.

@DanielFischer heh, strangely enough most of the false positives I was thinking about were originating from that reason, since x and y are used so commonly in maths. If we get this implemented we might leave it running for a while with mathjax removed and see how it goes; then we can take it from there
@DanielFischer thankyou, and you're welcome. Always happy to be of service :)

The same goes for the more sophisticated Parenting troll(s).

Any reason why I'm getting "Error Loading Chart: Internal Server Error" on metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/flagging ?

No idea - the page works fine for me.
But there are some parts of that page which are user-dependent, so that could be the source of the problem.

So one graph will show and the other error, then on reload sometimes it swaps

The first link returns [["Fail",70],["Dry run",256],["Success",5711]] for me (even when not logged in)
