@ArtOfCode Would it be possible to remove the error messages of NAA answers that I mark that aren't in metasmoke? API should return like a 200 response, not in metasmoke, and should fail gracefully.

Yeah, that would be nice ^

I also agree

@ByteCommander Sometimes, the SE api returns a backoff, this means that smokey has requested to much data in a short period of time, smokey waits the time (in this situation 10 seconds) and then prints it here.

Very little so far, I'm afraid. Been catching up after being out of the office a couple weeks, and it turns out I picked a busy time to be gone (not that there's ever a quiet time to be gone).

Let's be even clearer: what is this? Tim said feasibility study, is that right?

Indeed. So that means we're wide-open for suggestions. Awesome.

The short version is that Smokey is an awesome project, seems really effective, and Tim and I are curious if we can harness its signal in some way that hopefully doesn't rely on a few of you to always be around manually poking at your keyboards.

Hey

@Pops That I can work with ;)
So first, a lay of the land: There are really two relevant projects here; SmokeDetector itself and metasmoke. SmokeDetector is the thing on the front lines, that runs incoming stuff through all the magic regexes and whatnot we're using.
