@SmokeDetector While I think this should be closed and deleted, without something more indicating spam than what's in the question, this is the sort of thing which should be given the benefit of doubt. OTOH, it is effectively promotion/spam. If it was on SO, I'd delete it after closing it (and leave a comment that the OP can raise a flag to request undeletion if they correct the issues, including not having it effectively be spam).
@cocomac The regex contains an unescaped ".", which should be "\." in most cases. Append -force to the command word(s) if you really want to add the pattern you provided.
@SmokeDetector For info: I rolled back the 'cosmetic' edit I made on this post (and also Jeremy's similar edit on the other one) so that the posts could be seen in their "original glory". Maybe that was a mistake - dunno. Also, is it possible to search for a user name (not a user ID) on Metasmoke? That name rings a bell, somehow.

@SmokeDetector This is now just a spam seed. The original text, along with the spam link to this user's site, were copied into the answer here, which was posted by this user, who I strongly suspect is a sockpuppet of this user (why/how else would the text, including spam link, be copied from the question into an answer and the question OP edit the text, and spam, out of the question)? I've custom flagged.

@Ollie No, it was spam deleted, but was undetected by SD. The user was involved in a spam seed + spam answer for another domain on a different SE site a few hours ago (see above for the some comments). I only just now looked at their profile as I was cleaning up browser tabs and saw that the above post existed.
