@rene Here is a page with a PostgreSQL database (HNQ.backup), and some queries I ran on it to simulate the hotness calculation.
I have raw data too, i.e. stackexchange.com/hot-questions-for-mobile scraped every 3 minutes, and once every 15 minutes enriched with scores/views/answers/comments from the API.
That's 30 GB of zipped JSON files from a period of about 2 years, and with my internet connection it'll take a while to upload.

Note that the formula itself does not mention three site specific penalties, and there's a mysterious traffic factor. Therefore, I've expanded my HNQ scraper with some API calls to fetch some relevant variables for ...

@VictorVosMottor why did you mark tpu on metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/post/266708 ?

@DanielWiddis is not it a tpu ?

Nope, if you translate it, it's a "I have this problem too" NAA, at least in my opinion.

@DanielWiddis "How to create an account on the site I always appear to be logged in and want to create an account"

Right. Not advertising a product, etc. Not rude. Just a confused newbie that doesn't know how to use the site. :)

4:00 PM
@DanielWiddis yes that's just nonsense but i think tpu- is the better choice

Cause it is rubbish ;)

@VictorVosMottor See here:
Foreign-language posts on English sites (or vice versa)
Treat these as you would an English post. If it’s spam, offensive, etc., then mark it as k; otherwise use f or n. Particularly, answers in the wrong language for the target site are NAA, so n. Being in the wrong language for the site alone doesn’t make a post k-able.

@DanielWiddis ok, changed ;)

@VictorVosMottor I did the same thing on another post like a week or so ago. rene questioned me on it and I gave the same defense, but I definitely should've auto translated to make sure that it was just nonsense. So don't worry about it too much :D

4:06 PM
@VictorVosMottor Thanks. No worries, it's why we have two reviews on posts, and a third review if the first two don't agree. I read that page before joining and keep going back to it because some things don't "stick" until you've actually seen them.

@DanielWiddis Yeah I went with NAA just because it didn't necessarily seem abusive but also didn't really answer the question. "What does "The more you know" mean?" - "Jim is stupid he doesn't know anything." Maybe that's language barrier (it is ELL after all) but it also doesn't seem to insult any contributors (doesn't attack the OP or w/e) just seems to insult "Jim" - I dunno. It's a really weird case.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in body (1): ¿cómo depurar una "class"? ✏️ by Dorys on es.stackoverflow.com

5:56 PM
@Spevacus The other answers on the question do a much better job of answering it. I keep bouncing between fp (an answer but a poor one) or tp (rude), but not naa. The answer has already been deleted so it's less an issue for how to deal with the actual post than what we want for Smokey to have as a historical grade.
The "correct" answer is "Jim just learned something useless." Which doesn't mean Jim was stupid. :)

@DanielWiddis Hm... Then let's completely ignore NAA and go with the "System level block guidance" - Maybe FP? Doesn't seem R/A enough to warrant a TP to me. Open to others chiming in on this, too. Context: metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/post/266633

I'm leaning fp (attempt at an answer but wrong).

I think the answerer is essentially saying "what kind of person hasn't heard of 'a murder of crows'", which is would be NAA at best (commentary/nitpicking at the example in the question)

but not strongly so.
@NobodyNada And that brings naa back into it for me. I need a three-button meme.
