@double-beep Mostly, I've been using it as a marker that we've seen the subdomain. So far, it's usefulness has been as a marker for humans to see that the domain really has been checked and is spam. Frankly, I'm undecided as to if that usefulness is worth the effort.

@Makyen ... is it bad that I kinda want to throw pylint at the codebase lol?
flake8 is good, but pylint is more thorough heh.

@ThomasWard If it does a better job, it could be a good idea. If it detects a bunch of things in the current code-base, then it will be a pain to include it initially, but if it's worth the effort...

@ThomasWard Ouch. That's quite a bit. If you're going to tackle fixing/addressing those, I've usually broken that sort of thing down into one issue type at a time. Either by just grep'ing for the type or suppressing all but one new thing at a time.
Some of those appear to be style differences vs. what's there now. For those, I'd suggest making a GitHub Issue and getting buy-in that everyone wants them/is willing to use the style. I'm only dabbling in Python at this point, so I'm not really the best person to be providing input on such choices.

10:06 PM
@Makyen yeah well i was planning to suppress most of those, but the import ordering in some cases would be PEP8 compliant
some of those i'm going to ignore
but meh.
