maybe a reboot will help

actually, we could do a try/except that'd reinit the websocket
if it fails like that.
in the future. Tricky, but doable.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in body: ¿Como solucionar TypeError: string indices must be integers? by Bruno Soto on es.stackoverflow.com

sd why

@ThomasWard [:45160618] Body - Position 523-531: Bastards, Position 547-555: Bastards

context is "Battle of the Bastards" which is a GoT episode, at least if I can trust Translate properly.
so i'd say FP but not going to call it myself

Anyone know if it's possible to get ids of deleted posts from SEDE?

@SmokeDetector v
@thesecretmaster yes, PostsWithDeleted

And what's the magic syntax for making SEDE spit out a link?

SELECT Id AS [Post Link] FROM Posts ...

Thank you!

5:59 PM
yw

What's in PostsWithDeleted? It appears to have a ton of non-deleted posts.

That's why it's called PostsWithDeleted and not DeletedPosts.
You need to filter on DeletionDate IS NOT NULL

So how come a query like this one doesn't show a list of links to deleted posts by a user (I tried it on myself, and I know I have deleted posts)?

Because OwnerUserId, like the Body etc. is stripped from deleted posts.

Ah, ok

@ShadowWizard ╳ You are not a privileged user. Please see the privileges wiki page for information on what privileges are and what is expected of privileged users.

huh
That's a big X.
Right in my face.
:D

Privileges are room-based, you have them in the Tavern.
(but you probably knew that)

@Glorfindel wasn't sure, thought maybe this place "unites" all the privileges since it's the central place.
I always forget, you're one of the code contributors to Smokey? @Glorfindel

@ShadowWizard Nope - take a look at rooms.yml to see how it works

I restrict myself to the watch- and blacklist (and userscripts). I don't have much experience with Python and Ruby.

@NobodyNada We do want to watch, eventually blacklist, domains we've specifically seen in spam. The "Pattern-matching" detections are just that, patterns. A) Those patterns might change, but we still want to catch the specific domain. B) The watch acts as a marker that we've previously seen the domain in spam. C) The watch increases the number of detections, making future posts with it more likely to be autoflagged D) The eventual blacklisting increases weight, even more likely to be autoflagged.
