@Makyen That 'all caps JOHN' guy stilll has an account, yet in one post he questions "How is 'site I'm spamming' for data recovery if we face any data loss ??? I want some advice regarding it.", but in his next post he writes: "I am making an Arduino project integrated with the hard disk manufactured by 'site I'm spamming' and what projects can be made using GSM.". - Without clicking through
and investigating properly/fairly it looks like his statements are contradictory, repeatedly mention that site, and aren't particularly good answers (all deleted, the answers not his account). Next mention of that site and an irrelevant posts I will refer the moderators to my comment here.

Something is causing SD instances to randomly come out of standby. This has happened multiple times on, I believe, all instances over the last day or two.

Based on @Ferrybig 's comment before, it seems that MS maybe be incorrecting believing instances are switching to standby
This comment to be precise

5:34 PM
If that was the case, then I'd expect to see "received failover signal" messages from the SD instance that becomes active. In many (most?) cases where this has occurred the newly active instance has not posted that it received a failover signal. For instance this most recent occurrence does not have a failover message.
I was going to say that they have never posted that failover message for this problem. However, doing a search now indicates that sometimes it has been posted recently. I'd previously done the same search and seen that no message was posted for any occurrence.

Sometimes when an instance dies in standby, it starts directly...
This is because of an inappropriate logic in the master controller (nocrash.py), that whenever the core restarts the standby flag is removed.
that usually shouldn't happen, standby mode is believed to be stable, but some recent changes may cause it to happen more often

@bummi Yeah, they don't look like spam. Even the video is just a short clip of part of the song, but could be trying to promote it by getting people to identify it. I'm unsure if to go with duplicate as the close reason, as closing the other two as dups will result in all three questions sticking around longer than if they are independently closed as off-topic.

tpu- feedback received

@Rob They don't look like plagiarism to me. It appears the question was re-written 3 times. Plagiarism requires actual copying of the content, not just re-posting something with the same concepts, but with different writing. However, I do plan to custom mod-flag to let the mods know about the three questions.

@Makyen I agree, but to many closed question will block him from promoting too?

Rob

OK, was just reading here without checking the profile. The user went the extra mile to avoid duplicate detection. CMF is useful. I'm not registered there so I was leaving with the Mod's closed condition.

@bummi It will, eventually, result in a question ban, but the exact criteria are secret.

@Rob I was being a bit too literal in my reply. I was just indicating that a regex could be written to do so. Unfortunately, the detection that's triggered there isn't one of the ones that's just a regex detection. "Potentially bad ns for domain in {}" detects things that look like they might be domain names in posts (both in text and URLs).
It then does a a look-up to determine the NS that the domain uses. It would significantly reduce FP from that detection, and the others like it, if they included a dynamic whitelist, so we could add specific domains (or domain regexes so that things like Paint.NET could be distinguished).
