Q: This user is spamming completely irrelevant content in an answer.

Simple Art http://math.stackexchange.com/a/1932303/272831 http://math.stackexchange.com/users/370219/bas-das This user is posting random content from youtube videos that have nothing to do with math. I wanted to report this here because I'm not entirely sure what much I can do about the situation and it...

I have commented there, and I leave it up to someone else to answer and possibly mention this room.

2:35 AM
Or not. We don't want to spam the room. ;)

There has been a suggestion in SOCVR that we ask nicely on each site's meta and wait for their nod before we start deleting their spam.

@JanDvorak SOCVR is... interesting... remember, the Tavern is always open. ;)

It seems quiet there ;-)

Just a bit. :) But no Smokey noise (or at least, limited)

IIRC, Smokey should trickle there what doesn't get handled by Charcoal.

Yeah, except I move old Smokey reports so they don't interfere with people chatting.

I would like the reports getting struck to be a thing here.
I'm not saying deleted, because that would lose the MS links

3:13 AM
What do you mean?

I mean, when a spam post gets deleted, SD deletes the report from SOCVR. I'd like to have the same here.

@JanDvorak Yeah, the problem is that's really only a SO phenomenon. It's turned on for the Tavern too, because it's fairly likely that a post will be deleted 5-7 minutes after being reported. But within the first 2 minutes? Maybe on AU, but that's about it.

Can we get life expectancy stats on MS?
Per-site combined histogram, ideally :-)
There are per-hour averages, but that's across the whole network
(unannotated)

Yeah, that would be a cool one. @undo not sure how much work that would be ^

At least for me

oh, that, yeah
no easy way to keep that on, so

9:43 AM
Now I'm back up to 795 feedback, the vast majority of which through the US

You're still under 1% though, which is awesome

I was at 0,3% until my brainfart this morning, now the 1 invalid has shot me back up to 0,5%

I never realised feedback got marked as invalid when you clear your feedback

@Ferrybig yes, it does.
Which is disputable, as you kind of reckon your own mistake.
You actually still get "punished" for trying to keep a clean slate.

Seriously, it's just feedback, no need to get worked up about it. As long as you're not blindly saying 'k' to every post or something, it's all fine

9:50 AM
I think like 2 or 3 of my 4 invalid feedbacks so far are from clearing it myself

@angussidney It's not so much something to "get worked up about", but it does feel odd that it counts towards your statistics.

We could implement so that it doesn't invalidate. Is it worth it? On a meta-platform? Where the admins are all human, and can see that you're clearing yourself?

Most likely not

do it like SE does, it has a separate category for retracted flags

which is why I didn't do it
@Ferrybig yeah, that's how we'd do it if we were going to re-implement this. But I'm not sure it's worth it.

9:55 AM
Although feedback stats are public, probably not

@ArtOfCode I guess not. As I said, I'm not really worked up about it and don't really care that much, but it does feel a bit weird.

Perhaps later if I have time
@Oldskool it is a bit weird, I don't dispute that :)
we just didn't have any other convenient status when I wrote it

tpu- by oldskool

@Magisch and given that it takes me less than a second to click a conflict notification and clear the feedback, you'd have to be doing pretty badly to cost me much time.
And if you were doing that badly, all your feedback would be getting ignored anyway

Is it possible to see the feedback of users without metasmoke account?

I like having at least 99% accurate flags and feedbacks across SE. Maybe that number is arbitrary, but its the goal I've set for myself.

@Ferrybig What the hell, can't repro anymore

@Kyll do you have any revoked tokens at the US install at chromium?

Okay this smells like something I am not liking

@Kyll isn't the script working for you anymore?

I can repro... Only if I reload without Cache.
Which means something screws up dependency-wise.

why doesn't the write token reset when you delete and reinstall the script? that would make our life much easier in these cases
