@ManishEarth I saw that ChatExchange handles throttling (which is why I need the status code), but when I tested my chatbot yesterday, it didn't post all messages (just 22 of the 25).

Well, I think it is rate limiting anyway, let's see how the logging stuff works.

It added some of them to the queue, some of them were posted immediately. Two of the queued messages were not posted.
