I asked a question about text-to-speech software and it got closed as off-topic. Can anyone please take a look why it was closed? superuser.com/questions/402224/…

I believe it's a valid question. I researched the answers on superuser.com and the other questions didn't have the quality software I was looking for. They only had free solutions that are unusable for anything professional.

I now talked with one of mods and he said that it was because I mentioned the price that I was allocated to do this project. I updated the question not to have the price. I hope the question can get unlocked for answers.

The question won't get unlocked but 2 people managed to answer it in a racesplit-second condition between question being locked and answered. Thanks and god bless you.

@bodacydo Generally, questions close to shopping recommendations (even related to software) aren't encouraged (see FAQ) – so you can try to rewrite it a bit. A question can always be reopened by the community too, for example when you post a reopen request on Meta Super User.

There might be a possible bug issue with careers profile. Can somebody take a look at meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/125403/… and help this user to solve his issue?

@stackoverflow: No need to ask everywhere, most moderators are here as well as in the Tavern (three valued associates).

Also, normally the question gets attention by moderators. But it seems it's incorrectly tagged...

@nhinkle Everything's pretty much redundant, I thought that was the whole point of merging, to at least not split all the info up into multiple questions.
