Hello- Don't know where I should address my question.
I'm relatively new user to superuser.com I answered a question a month ago, put my time in, get all the knowledge I could: http://superuser.com/questions/484387
I got one upvote and recently one downvote- strange is that 1)there is no explanation, what's wrong with my answer and 2) every answer seems to have 0 votes now... Am I getting something wrong or were there some issue I am not aware of?

@Vairis Users aren't required to post a comment when they downvote, although they should point out what's wrong. I don't see anything egregiously wrong with your answer, and while I understand it can be frustrating, there's really not much you can do about it.

I've had a couple of my posts downvoted as well without getting comments. It sucks, but in the long run, it won't matter really :)

@slhck I guess you are right, it was just wierd. And when you have only 15 points in your account, one downvote counts... Anyway- more reason to participate in searching stuff and being able to answer questions... nice day and bye ;)

@slhck I am new to superuser and i don't no all rules and regulation of superuser, my doubt is suppose if same question was posted in some other stack exchange site, then can i flag the question as possible duplicate?

@max You can only flag as "possible duplicate" when the question is on the same site

@max However, if you find a question that is off topic here, then flag and we'll close it as off topic. For example, you find a question here on Super User that should have been asked on Web Apps, but Web Apps already has a dupe, then just flag and say "question is off topic for Super User, duplicate on Web Apps: …"
