@MonicaCellio If we put a Q/A like Mikraot Gedolot/the Vilna Bavli, then we can cram more in while not looking terrible. So we'd put a question in the middle, and some answers in a different font around the edges. Might be confusing, though
@CharlesKoppelman I think that would be fabulous, and should not be confusing to our target audience. (Aside: a coworker once suggested formatting our coding standards, which I had custody of at the time, that way. Would've been fun! Didn't do it mainly because typesetting is hard.)
@IsaacMoses It was traditionally used as a way to save space (paper used to be expensive). That's, I think, why we have it. Since you get a smaller and different font for answers, your margins don't need to be as large to provide a visual distinction between the two. (To be fair, they didn't really know from page layout back in the day...)
