just had someone in for an energy label inspection commissioned by the building owner... Shocked at how little they're taking into account :/
it was pretty much recording geometry and window orientation, and basing the R values off of the build year... wtf?
People pay money for this kind of 'inspection'? o_O
I mean, I can get the measurements off of a building plan and do exactly the same 'inspection' off of my laptop... It's the R values that can be different in reality, so maybe not visit in august but rather january? And bring an IR camera?
