Ok so in doing some homework i have decided the following
Break up the bands into channels for both tunning and transmit, of 300k each.
This will allow me to switch between the Khz and the Mhz. With a simple switch on the both transmission and reception this is a benifit that i can run it as a one way repeater.
That allows me to retain a more vintage look and it allows for a secondary knob for fine tuning.
Tunning can be taken care on a digital level while can benefit from a more customized audio pipe line.
