I just read the entry on the Apparatus of Kwalish in the DMG. There is nothing that says what happens to the vehicle when it runs out of hit points.
Does it regain hit points? If so, how? Or is it destroyed? What happens to it when it is destroyed?
@Axoren 1 week later: My players have set up a flying bombardment platform to kill tarrasques. They've gained eight levels in the past session and there are still three more tarrasques.
Imagine that on each edge of your square stands an enemy, but the diagonals are not occupied (□: unoccupied square, E: enemy, P: player):
