@GPierce it can be done well. I've had very good conversations with people of vastly different opinions on both topics, both on the internet and in person.
@CRoss I agree that it can be done. And done well. But sadly most people are not willing to be objective on the topic. I've had great conversations over religion as well, but those are in the minority from my own personal experience.
People do have a hard time having good discussions over RAW without flaming...

@BrianBallsunStanton Ah yes, Pearl Harbor. Hawaii is great, especially if you can avoid the touristy areas. From what it sounds like you will be on Oahu? My father actually works out there quite frequently. It's like any other city/state, as good as you make it. But yes, the native Hawaiians really don't care much for the tourists. So seeing as you are not a tourist, you should be fine.

Pathfinder or FantasyCraft?
What are the strengths and weaknesses of these two unofficial DnD3.5 "upgrades" compared to 3.5 and each other?
(What kinds of play/groups are they more fit for? Tactical, rules light preferring, combat-oriented, rp-oriented etc.)
I just put the index of moves from the book up online: AW-movesindex.pdf
It's not the full text of the moves, and it doesn't include any of the limited edition playbooks, but it's a list, at least.
I wouldn't object to having a comprehensive list with the full moves online. Maybe I'll steal a f...
@waxeagle Little pathetic-looking kitten has been hanging out outside of my house for awhile so my fiancee and I are trying to lure it into our home to clean it up and take care of it
@GPierce Oh fun, we just adopted one ourselves. My wife works at a college and they have a small group of feral cats around. Every once in a while someone snatches up a kitten and wants it to go to a good home. We aren't allowed to have pets, but we keep him outside and he mostly hangs out under our porch
@GPierce we have gotten by with a fish for a long time. This is our second cat at our current place, we had nearly the same situation with a cat last summer as we do this summer, but she ended up running away after about 3.5 weeks
@GPierce yeah, we are a bit light on the jerks and trolls around these parts. We have a couple of useless users, and a couple of high rep users whose tone annoys me, but no one in particular is too horrible
@GPierce I lived in Ft. Worth for a year and there was an awesome little shop there. I was still playing SWCCG back then and the local group hosted tourneys and stuff. I wish I had been playing D&D at the time, but oh well...

@GPierce This is kind of a pointless question. see the comment I made. i think he is trying to op a single attack adding the bonus from his off hand weapon
@GPierce exactly, when you can apply static mods twice in an action you are doing exceptionally well. Especially if/when you can make twin strike work as a MBA and you have a warlord or similar in your party
The only issue I have is that Hunter's quarry can only be applied 1/round instead of 1/turn
@waxeagle I snagged it and it was scared so it bit me. Twice. My hand is throbbing but cleaned and I was able to move the kitten into my house. It escaped my guest bathroom (where it was to be housed temporarily) and is hiding in a corner of my living room.
Feral kitty is feral.

@waxeagle Aww, it's finally eating and drinking. I left it water and food (that it didn't touch) outside while I was in class and gave it some tuna when I got it inside. It is now partaking in a glorious post-capture/biting feast

@waxeagle Have you heard anything about Mouseguard? I know it's based offf of a comic series (which is awesome) and uses a lite version of the Burning Wheel rules base.
@waxeagle I was eager for badges for awhile and then they went the way of the achievement for me. They are cool, if I get them, I get them, but I am not going to go out of my way to get a badge (unless it is the 100 day one... 40 more days..)
