Two nights ago, because I'm arachnophobic and my highly skilled spider hunter spotted one hanging out just above my bed, so getting rid of it wound me up.
Last night, because my housemate's doing some dog sitting through the holiday season for extra cash, and the two that came in yesterday are REALLY ANNOYING and kept barking in the middle of the night. So I'm sure my housemates also had lousy sleep last night.
Good thing, because the livestream I'm waiting on has been featuring an extremely dull personality. (It's a court stream with commentary for a local trial, thankfully the high energy commentary offsets the low energy judge.)
I have a high metabolism for caffeine, so I don't get addicted. It's just enough to kind of help push me into being a little more awake for the morning (plus it's good coffee)
I've never really found most of the teas I drink to be bitter, but I try to avoid cheap ones too :) (Except for iced tea, but that gets cold brewed and loaded with sugar so it doesn't end up too bitter or tannic at the end.)
Most iced teas get hot brewed using really cheap tea leaves (more like "tea powder" tbh, it's very low grade stuff), so there's a lot of tannins. They don't really come out in cold brewing, or if you use better quality tea.
