Though context is important. -2 would be frigid in summer.

Hovering around freezing is certainly not unusual for November here either. But my feet clearly define that as “cold”.

Cold is such a relative thing. Where I live currently (Minnesota) it gets and stays cold over the winter, which I always hated, until I moved to a state a bit farther south (Nebraska). It gets cold there, but it doesn't STAY cold, and that was far more miserable.

@Sarov Best I can figure out, when it stays cold I just get used to it, so slightly milder (still below freezing) weather feels pleasant and it has to get really bitter to feel cold. When it didn't stay cold, just a small dip below freezing felt as bad as the bitter days here.

Ah, fair I guess.

Still, I'm good without 5 solid months of -40 tyvm.

I can definitely live without that too

Thankfully here we only really have Jan and Feb that flirt with -40.
