@lila Ah now I remembered that I asked this again
There is a go tournament that I plan to join this wekend
Of course it is online
Still, my first tournament of a very long time, a little excited :)
@lila It was very hot here too, it was like 24 reamour. Now it is raining. The good thing is that cat refused to sleep with me on hot nights and now he is back to his usual place

Hi. What is the difference between the dogs tag and the puppy tag?

1:54 AM
@EkadhSingh Hi welcome to Litter Box chat room, please make yourself feel like you are at home; the difference is, [dogs] is more general whereas [puppy] is for questions about dogs that are specific to young dogs; that's theoretical, in practice you asked a good question because I think it would be preferred to use combination of [dogs] and [junior-pet] instead of [dogs] and [puppy]; what do you think about this?
@C.Koca :D
@C.Koca Wow okay, we have heat wave next a few days; Sonny refused to sleep with you on hot nights? Next time please try playing rain sounds, or even better, snow sounds from your phone to goad him ^.^

@lila :)
I am hot as well, so I don't mind sleeping apart :)

By the way, I am sorry for the nuisance on the front page with many bumped posts, I am trying to control myself and slow down before I start to blow it, but as hard it is for me to start, it is even harder to stop :/ and arguably these improvements arguably had to arguably be done.

2:12 AM
good night

@lila good night

@C.Koca I did for about 2 weeks at school once. Not sure I would even remember the rules now...

In case anyone is interested: this article has a very good summary of the scientific research that proves that punishing a dog after they did something wrong is useless. In the experiment the time between transgression and punishment was only 15 seconds and still the dogs of the "delayed punishment" group ignored the taboo when the experimenter wasn't in the room.

hi
@Elmy Big thanks, yes I was interested, and I did not need the article to believe you, but it is really appreciated as well, thanx.

I had my loudspeakers on full volume because I was watching a video material with a really quiet audio, I watched and then went on to browse the Internet, and then suddenly a f∗∗∗ing chat notification played on full volume and f∗∗∗∗d my f∗∗∗ing ears, and I have enough for today of these SE chats. Who the f∗∗∗ did come up with idea to ...
...make this sound so obnoxiously piercing and alarming, like a giant stick hitting a hollow metal roof with full force, I don't know. It has already startled me a few times in the past, but today was the worst; I still feel the ringing in my ears.
And to make it even more ridiculous, this was f∗∗∗ing 'good morning' response to my message, nothing important, f∗∗∗ing 'good morning', and I am still shaking.

@lila Hey! Are you alright?
I shouldn't have tagged you now you are deaf

3:27 PM
@C.Koca Hahahaha I am giggling at your second message, thanks I think I really needed that :D and thanks for taking concern about this; and yes, I am mostly alrgiht, but that was violent and completely unnecessary to happen, it startled me so much and made me scream so loud that my mom knocked to my room to ask what happened! It was so bad that I was thinking about wearing ear stoppers while using SE chat to make sure it never happens ever again!
Wow this chat sound is so obnoxious and horribly ear piercing even at lower volumes, I am wondering how many hundreds of people it has already deafened, it is insane.

2 hours later…
5:09 PM
I realised something very important.
I cuddled my cat a little too hard so hissed at me, a couple of times. Then, to make up for it, I left the dry food container open and he engorged himself with that. Since last night, he never cared to leave my room. Apparently, his real reason to get out is to find food and if he is full, he just lays around.

What do you think about doing a Pets Meta Q&A about edit wars and set some official guideline what should we do? I clicked 'lock for 24 h' on that post, but other than that I do not really know what to do.

9:48 PM
@lila why's this linked?

@JacobB Because I banned myself from reviewing those for today (I voted too many times) and I linked it to positively reinforce chat participation (the first person to notice this gets 0.1% progress to yellow medal "Steward").

@lila Oh, :D

Only 732 more and you will get this urine-colored, I mean yellow, medal! :D

@lila XD, I don't anticipate that happening anytime soon

10:06 PM
@JacobB Haha you probably did not anticipate the grey medal either, but it happened :D but yes, I understand you; by the way, I am sometimes looking at the numbers and imagine it is an eight-thousander climb, and only one person (Trond Hansen) has ever made it; some people are still climbing, while others had been noticeably inactive for months or even years and their numbers sit there immobile since months or years - I see ...
@JacobB ...all of them as incarnations of their own selves in the Pets SE universe, and as those brave people who tried their best but perished during the climb, and their remains stay there frozen forever on the exact altitude they gave up, as a honourable memorial. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Boots

@lila that's an interesting way to look at it, and it makes a lot of sense. Maybe I'll get there eventually

thanks
hey sorry for multiple pings, but I had to add clarification
by the way, I noticed long ago that 'clarification' is your favourite edit revision description :D

@lila yeah, I often put "clarification" in addition to other things like grammar, tags, etc. when I change somethings around to make a post easier to understand.
And I don't mind multiple pings. As it is, I rarely hear the ping sound anyways, so it's not annoying :)
