Good morning everyone. I ended up writing that list of answer that were written for our spring cleaning campaign. I found 4 answers in the 3 days since the campaign started. If I overlooked one or anyone writes another one, please feel free to add your answer to the list.

@Elmy Sweet, thanks!

@lila I had one of those long handled scrubbers, but for the smaller tank, it's taller than it is wide and with the hood/lights not in place it's hard to see the algae and get all of it cleaned up. With the little magnetic one I can clean with the light on and get all the little bits of algae scrubbed out :)

@Elmy Great! Thanks!

why some advanced users had been leaved Pets SE?

10:24 PM
I assume they left because they didn't enjoy contributing anymore. I suspect, perhaps it was some type of burnout; contribution requires constant input of creative mental effort and if this is overdone, then it could be extremely draining. If you look at "last seen" date on their profile pages, you could see that some of them still login and visit Pets, just don't write posts nor comments. Others haven't visited in years and "last seen" is somewhere in 2017. And ...
...other users maybe had reasons related to SE site other than Pets, but deleted their all accounts including Pets SE.

:(
this site can be better
I know that
How did you arrived to Pets SE?

I was in home one year ago because of c*vid and I had to find a creative hobby to avoid going completely insane from being indoors, and people on Pets turned out to share my values and provide a nice substitute of social contact, and social contact was (still is :C ) a scarce commodity so it instantly clicked and I was hooked at the first sight; and writing answers turned out to be a pleasant vent for creative effort; 11th April (3 days ago) was my full 1 year on Pets ^.^ And how about you?

11:19 PM
@lila Ah. You mean the infamous Monica issue?
Anyway, I agree with you @lila in that SE has turned out to be a pleasant vent for creative effort.
@NicolásCastellanos Curious, in which ways do you think the site could improve?

@Nai54 I was referring to our former moderator Yvette C. who deleted her accounts in July 2020; I don't know details, but she was also the user of Stack Overflow, was former Stack Overflow moderator and nominated into the election there, but then something happened and she withdrawn her nomination and then deleted accounts. Actually I am not really familiar with the so called "Monica issue".
@Nai54 "I'm not really familiar" - I mean, I am not completely oblivious :D I know the basics that there was the drama and a lot of people left, some left permanently and some resumed activity later. But I didn't participate in this, I was not a side in this conflict and I wasn't even aware of it the time it was happening because back then I was just casually browsing Hot Network Question once a few days.

I wasn't even here back then, although I did for a couple of weeks go through the archives to learn more about it.
