Oh I understand, I know Lady & The Tramp and I also remember these cats, but their portrayal wasn't how I felt about any other cats; however, I don't remember this song because I mostly remember Lady & The Tramp from a book and not the movie and also, I didn't know about the song being this controversial :o

I noticed that my avatar was moved completely out in the recent 6 avatars in Close Votes Queue for the first time since a few months or so; it is really heartwarming because it shows new participants joined and are active.
I mean, in this view: pets.stackexchange.com/review

@lila You're right! Let's get this site out of beta!

@lila Also, thanks for yet again improving my answer! Looks great! (and you should know that you don't always have to do such work, I should've formatted the links before posting.) What would Pets SE do without you (you've voted 1247 times this year and edited 480 posts)?

@Nai54 Haha thanks for appreciation! :D I honestly think Pets would do fine (as it has done for over 6 years before I joined Pets), most of what I do isn't essential in the first place but is just a matter of aesthetics; I suppose it might give an impression of altruistic drive and a sense of "mission", maybe? However, in reality it is primarily egoistical: it gives me this warm buzz feeling and small satisfaction ...
... in the way similar to popping bubble wrap, it is a weirdly relaxing hobby and also a habit, at this point I noticed that sometimes, while reading some article, etc. on the Internet and I notice a typo, I automatically start looking for the "edit" link to repair it :D

@lila I clean the algae off my small tank once a week or it gets to being hard to see the fish inside; I'm considering looking into an algae-eater that can live with the too-many-platies and help keep it cleaner. What I use now is a magnetic algae cleaner, where a scrubby piece goes inside, and a smooth one outside, with strong magnets to keep them together through the glass. It's really helpful for getting everything scrubbed down nicely!

hi
yes :D
@AllisonC I actually had a "tool" that was a scrubber with a long handle; it was made of plastic but had a "slot" to insert a metal razor (just a normal common shaving razor), but after the first use I ruined the razor (I left it wet and razor started rusting). Later I used this tool again with the razor removed and the plastic part did a lot worse, but still was efficient.
However, this last time I scrubbed most of it using the gravel vacuum (I just scrapped the glass with the "edge" of the vacuum's pipe, but the pipe is circular in cross-section, so it did contact glass in about 2-3 mm thin area and it was a torture).
