@lila Agreed.

hi

@lila Sorry for being late. I wasn't home today. I mostly agree with all of you that this could be an incentive, but the additional work involved could also put users off. If you volunteer updating the post, we can concentrate of finding old questions that are worth our time.
And yes, the "unanswered questions" filter is kind of stupid, because as long as the OPs don't bother (or don't know) to klick the check mark, the questions will remain in that filter forever, no matter how many answers there are...

@Elmy Okay thanks for response; for the filter I think its name is just a misnomer because it should be "unsolved" or "without accepted answer"; however, I know about this and I understood it as using something as "answers:0 closed:no [aquarium]" in search bar, then it works fine.
If I use "answers:0" then it only lists questions with no answers.

Doesn't it also do questions with answers without upvotes?

I scrolled through a few pages of search results and I never found a result that had any more than 0 answers; but I know what you are talking about because some other things treat questions with non-upvoted answers as "unsolved", for example Community bumps questions that have answers but none of them is upvoted nor accepted.
Okay I think now I get it unanswered tab gives list of all questions with no accepted answer and all answers have a score of 0 or less (only score and not upvote count is taken into account, e.g.: a question with one answer having one +1 and one -1 vote shows as unanswered in this).
And answers:0 gives a list of questions with no answers at all.

Nice.
Right now I'm writing a "spring cleaning" answer, only 742 to go after I finish!

Oh sweet! ^.^ I'm curious as to what question is that you are answering, but I'm guessing it is tagged [dogs] :D

Yep, how did you know! :)

10:34 PM
I could say the same about you for cats :D pets.stackexchange.com/users/17671/lila?tab=tags

:D
It shows a lot of conformism and populism on my side, I guess, because [cats] is the one most popular tag on the whole site :D

Here's the spring cleaning answer I was working on (I still have to shorten the links though): pets.stackexchange.com/a/31094/19872
And I was wondering, are you a cat or dog person?

11:16 PM
@Nai54 Okay nice! Are you okay with the formatting modifications? (Indentations to visually separate the source sections + made links themselves into small text.)
@Nai54 Cat because I have never had a cat nor a dog in home, but I learnt a lot about cats while interacting and befriending street cats; on the other hand, there are virtually no street dogs where I live; I had a lot more interactions with cats than with dogs.
And you? I guess a dog person?

Formatting modifications are great @lila, thanks!

oh thanks! :D I had to add these "bullet point" style list formatting to make indentations, I don't know how to make indentations without adding these bullet points.

Yes, I'm also a dog person. I love them so much. Also not a cat person, because I grew up with this image of a cat: youtube.com/watch?v=Ly_vxI4nllA (link to youtube video, song from Disney movie. The song is somewhat controversial: decider.com/2019/11/12/… and I do not support any racist or offensive views expressed in it)
