@Henders maby getting an answer is more important then getting the answer to the questions,some of us here have been less active for some time and this might influence the number of visitors to this site.

@Henders IMO having a more active "chat" certainly helps.. personally I've found myself experiencing a much greater sense of community on sites where I've been active in chat

@Henders it also acts as a great medium for getting people help on questions that wouldn't be suitable for the SE format, or where they require a more immediate response

Yep, comments aren't for extended discussion (as we always say :P ) so it's a great medium to help.
