@JourneymanGeek I don't follow all the discussions, so I'm honestly really interested in the justification of that decision. At first glance this sounds so much like discrimination or worst case even racism.

@Elmy well the 3rd round I applied, I lacked experience apparently

then they went over to hiring via a agency, and they don't have an agency in SG ...

Its also entirely possible I just pissed off someone or the other

Its monumentally frustrating but I don't exactly have any leverage in that matter

@JourneymanGeek I meant the "this was the round when they suddenly decided they'd only hire US and UK". Do they actually hire CMs or is it more like an election? (Sorry for the noob question)

@Elmy they've hired quite a few CMs

I can't complain about quantity or quality, though the focus has been more on 'formal' CM experience over in community hires

if it was an election of sorts, it'd happen

and well I'm too stubborn to go "Yeah, they're totally not into you" or walk away from my communites so... I occationally get grumpy about this :D

At the same time - I suspect it'd take some significant changes in attitude, and willingness to put in effort for it to happen
