Q: Is it true that cats having a baby seek refuge in other homes if they're abandoned by their owners?

Suraj S JainI had a cat come to my house. I knew nothing about cats at that time. After an hour or two, she started having kittens. It's been about 2 days since then and I am not able to find her owner. I checked the footage of the security cameras in my house and it showed that the cat had visited my house ...

@Magisch shudders
Imagine if it was running though...
More shudders

JAD
@Henders and jumping at you

Eugh
Jumping, don't even start :p
... I think I'm going to be sick :P

A J
And I'm already. :P

@AJ Oh no! See, this is why we shouldn't post pictures of spiders :P

A J
hehehe
When we will clean some old rooms due to Diwali, I am sure we'll find some spiders. ;)
Then I will throw those spiders on @Henders. YE BE WARNED! :P

8:26 AM
Haha, it very much depends on the size and how vulnerable I feel. For example, no socks on = more scary. In a confined space = more scary. In a dark room = more scary.
In full body armour and a hazmat suit = less scary.

A J
and in the bathtub? ;)

Full on fury mode.

A J
I think spiders can't swim, can they?

No idea :P

A J
@Henders Try making one swim. :P
Make a paper boat and place spider on it, and then it will swim. ;)

8:32 AM
"place a spider on it" - I'll have to be wearing my hazmat suit again.

A J
8:42 AM
@Henders You have a hazmat suit? Really?

JAD
so nice, got the office to myself, can just play whatever music I like

A J
@JAD Sounds like me every morning at work. Only guard and me are the people in the office. :P

JAD
my two direct coworkers are parttimers that don't work thursdays and the other two people are working elsewhere

A J
@JAD parttimers?
you mean part-timers?

JAD

Its a tarantula

It's the same as the previous spider posted. It's a Goliath Birdeater.

they apprently make great pets

3:02 PM
@RichieACC strangely fascinated by these
they're supposedly very docile
Not like you should regularly handle any spider, but this seems like the less creepy variant - big enough so you can definitely see when it's around

@Magisch Just the photo's of these give me panic attacks. I can't do arachnids. nope nope nope.

I can't do miscellaneous bugs. Spiders I'm actually completly fine with
I can grok a spider. I know what it wants (food, the kind that I dont like walking around my house) and I know it wants nothing else
so I've had a mutually beneficial arrangement with the big cross spider in the houseplant at my house. It gets to eat all the flies and live, and I get to have fewer flies and bugs in my house

3:25 PM
@RichieACC Yep, I'm with you there! :p
@Magisch This is true. We've got some big ones in our garden at the moment. Since it's got cooler they're all making webs and catching flies.
@JourneymanGeek I'll stick with fish xd

4:01 PM
the size of that spider is scary i have seen a movie named aracnophobia and i did think it was scary,but they were small and nothing compared to that monster :)
this is the largest spider we have here where i live en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tegenaria_domestica they can bite but are not dangerous for people or pets.

Q: Possible case of MBD in a leopard gecko

Josh G.My 8 month old leopard gecko has had his front left leg turned inwards for the past 2 weeks. He also stays in his hide a lot and rarely comes out. Is there anything I can do?
