Apologies in advance, but my friend's 13.5-y-o Golden Retriever passed today; I loved that dog, he's the same age as my eldest dachshund. I was reminded of the poem and couldn't believe it wasn't here in some form already.
"litterbox" tag is 2 words; should be "litter-box" I replaced all instances with "placeholder" to find them easily once "litterbox" is eliminated from the tag groups in 24 hrs. Then I'll replace "placeholder" with "litter-box".
There are a few variables here that I was thinking about:
Spend rep to extend a bounty for a certain amount of time
Allow the rep spent to extend duration to add into the original bounty
Create minimums on the amount necessary to extend dependent on how long it has been up
