The idea is that someone can spend 1min participating one day, without wading through hundreds of posts
The principle (which we might revise if we think of improvements):
Someone proposes a topic, and people reply citing works on that topic with a short description. After a while (a day or two?), the proposer selects one of the replies, and the person who replied gets to propose the next topic.
When Harrison casts off his handicaps, and declares himself Emperor, he selects his Empress and they dance. I guess you'd call the dance "interpretative".
