@bobble yes it's ok to care about it
I had a migrated question from anime.se to sci-fi where I suspected the asker wasn't a native English speaker so I had to edit, interpret and fix a lot of stuff... Along come some users who've spotted the same user attempting to ask that question again on anime.se but with more details. Rather than adding in the extra detail, they just pastes it over my edit 😩
Rollback, copy bits in... Reinterpret text...

Q: Poem: The Castle by Edwin Muir

Baskaran SoundararajanIn the above poem, what does the line 'only a bird could have got in' imply?

12:42 PM
@Bookworm "In the above poem ...". Actually, there is no poem above your first sentence. Only a reference to a poem.

Q: What is a "more bankable nationality"?

EJoshuaS - Stand with UkraineThe short story Girls by Oksana Zabuzhko (in Your Ad Could Go Here) features Darka meeting a girl of apparently high social status: Rivka... smelled of homemade vanilla cookies, vacations at a spa in the Caucasus, third-generation antiques confiscated during the Bolshevik revolution, and a five-...

@Bobble I'm sorry that you are feeling stressed and short on spoons (I do understand the phrase), I hesitated to make the comment precisely because that always seems to be the case when you and I interact.

sorry for being inconvenient :(

If you don't agree with my comment on your answer, fine, ignore it by all means. I don't always make changes in response to comments on mine.

I don't want to be inconvenient or someone people have to be careful around or someone who has imperfect answers :(

No-one has perfect answers. Mostly people don't enjoy being challenged on their answers, I know I don't.
I'll let you into a secret, there is an answer of Rand's which I think spectacularly misses the point, I kind of said in comments where I thought he was missing the trick, he clearly didn't agree because he (is Rand a 'He'? I don't know, maybe I should say 'they')
they never responded to the comment at all and left the answer as it was. Same with one of Matt Thrower's I think it was, boldly stated something as fact that wasn't and built a whole elaborate explanation around that 'fact'. I pointed it out in comments... completely blanked.
So you don't have to squirm and ask people what would make them happy if you get an adverse comment on an answer, you can just ignore them, for good or until a time you feel more like addressing it.
I've had answers that people suggested I do more work to and i replied that I felt I'd done all that was required, thank you ever so much, but then gone back to it later with fresh eyes and done much more work on it. That happended with my 'Krazy Kat' answer and it's the one I'm most proud of having written in its final form.
So all I'm saying is you don't have to publicly flay yourself if someone challenges something you wrote.
Anyway, that's me off for now. I've got pizzas to make. Chin up and don't sweat the small stuff.

@Spagirl Is Rand al'Thor a "he"? I've always assumed he is:
> I am Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, Lord of the Morning, the Car'a'carn, He Who Comes With The Dawn, the Coramoor, Shadowkiller, Prince of the Dawn (...)
