Congratulations, @Randal'Thor, on crossing 50k rep!
@bobble Because the poster is a homophobe who thinks of gayness as literally unspeakable. I'm actually unclear why @Mithical thought it necessary to coddle that sentiment without pointing out it violates the "be nice" rule?

Q: Short stories about military aviation?

AbcderiaDoes anyone know of a good short story set around military aviation? I was thinking of James Salter, whose novel The Hunters is about military pilots. But I couldn't identify one of his short stories with this setting. I also checked out Mark Helprin, but no dice. Any help?

hey my rep, the number of silver badges, and the number of bronze badges are all nice round numbers rn. If zero is a round number, then the gold badges too!

@Tsundoku @verbose Thank you!
verbose and Spagirl should hurry up and get a nonzero number of gold badges :-) Everyone else in the top 15 users has at least one.

@Tsundoku I once saw someone on SE called Pencilveinia. Apparently either they changed their username or they're not on one of my regular sites.

@Randal'Thor Or they met someone named Eraser.
In spite of my previous comments, I don't really like puns about blunt pencils. They are rather pointless :-P
