I'd like to remind everyone again that our Epic of Gilgamesh challenge is ongoing, but only for 10 more days!

@Gallifreyan I think it's one of those questions whose on-topicness may depend on the direction in which the OP is approaching it.
"How can I use enjambment effectively in poetry I'm writing?" - off-topic.
"How is enjambment used effectively in existing poetry?" - on-topic.
We can advise on what poets have done, and then the good folk of Writing SE can use that information to advise on how to emulate them. Subtly different things.
I wouldn't VTC it, but it might benefit from an edit or at least a comment.
And done.
This is a good question, but I think for this site it should be angled slightly more towards "how is enjambment used in poetry" rather than "how can I use enjambment when writing poetry". The experts on Literature can tell you about existing literature, while those on Writing can advise you on creating your own. I've edited your question slightly to angle it more clearly into this site's scope; hope you don't mind. — Rand al'Thor 1 min ago
... my edit is pretty minor, mostly just changing active voice to passive. Am I splitting hairs here?
