The question seems to attract conspiracy theorists. I'd rather see it gone. It's not about a work of literature anyway.

Shakespeare 2020 project – Read through the Bard in a year. It's from 2020, but you can always substitute the current calendar year for 2020 and get going. It's never too late to begin reading Shakespeare ;-)

It's on topic and can be answered with references, I just haven't had time

We have received three answers to that question so far; each has been deleted. The two most recent ones were the same.
Questions on non-literary texts are on topic if they ask as "literary" question about the text. The question about Michel Salomon's book doesn't ask for a literary approach to it.
Basically, some people have figured out that Attali did not say those words, so the conspiracy theorist take it one step further and claim they were included in an edition that has been disappeared. Let's not feed the trolls please.

@Tsundoku It's much better to stand up and tell trolls their wrong

@AncientSwordRage Conspiracy theorists don't let facts get in the way of their cherished myths.

@Tsundoku we're not changing their mind

I agree with bobble: the question seems on topic and appears to be angling for a debunking of the conspiracy theory rather than "just asking questions" (i.e. pushing an egenda)

we're saying "You're not welcome" and to anybody else who's on the fence "This troll is wrong, here's why"

It is a shame that it is attracting RWNJ answers, so for the moment I have protected it

@GarethRees good plan

If you want to post an answer, ask here or flag the moderators and it can be unprotected
