@Randal'Thor That question was horribly mangled and I don't think it is worth saving in its current incarnation. Revision 1 asked "How are the past and present represented in Alfred Tennyson's Idylls of the King?" which is recognizably a prompt for a term paper in an undergraduate literature class.
The word "present" in the prompt of course means "Tennyson's present", and the paper would discuss how Tennyson embodied Victorian mores and ideals in his imagined Arthurian past.
Term paper prompts are generally too open-ended to make good Stack Exchange questions, so I think people were right to push for something better. But Chenmuka's suggestion that the question might be asking about the poems' "relevance to modern life" was a mistake — this makes nonsense of the original question
Revert the question to revision 1 and I would vote to reopen. Leave it as it is and it is better off deleted.
