This old post was bumped recently by a new answer: Solution to $(A+x^2)e^x=B$ with Lambert W function. I would guess that would be suitable. And I am not really sure about the choice of the top-level tag.

Q: Solution to $(A+x^2)e^x=B$ with Lambert W function

DouglasKeukIs it possible to obtain a analytical solution for $(A+x^2)e^x=B$, where we want to solve for $x$ with $A,B$ as constants?

@Martin: I've fixed the comments for you. — Asaf Karagila ♦ 3 mins ago
I suppose Asaf means the three comments I've mentioned recently?
@IanAgol K. and G. Kuperberg gave real-analytic counter-examples to the Seifert conjecture: arxiv.org/abs/math/9802040, so that gives examples. — Benoît Kloeckner Jan 12 '17 at 21:04
There's a bunch of great stuff related to Andre's comment in this short paper of Greg's. — Noah Snyder Jul 16 '14 at 20:42
Your self-promotion needs no excuse. As long we've started that, I used Archimedes' theorem and other moment maps in a paper on numerical quadrature. arxiv.org/abs/math/0405366Greg Kuperberg Jul 24 '10 at 19:07
@AsafKaragila You mean these three comments, right? — Martin Sleziak 9 secs ago
@Martin: As one can guess. Seeing how the links there are now correct... — Asaf Karagila ♦ 18 secs ago

@MartinSleziak good catch. I've updated the count for the posts that still need manual editing, it's down to 125 from 195 or so. If we slowly edit these to avoid flooding the front page they could be done by the middle of the year.
