My first edit was understandably rejected.
(https://mathoverflow.net/review/suggested-edits/131851)
And I wish I could get additional guidance to revise it to be acceptable.
The primary purpose of the edit is a reference to a symbol that I perceive as an error.
Without the comment permission, I couldn't post a comment to the answer for the author's clarification, as a reviewer suggested.
So, I ended up making a rather unassertive edit and it didn't work out. I do feel that the improment might not have been substantial enough, comparably to the original lengthy answer.
I'm stuck here

@j824h It is possible that the OP will notice your suggested edit. IIRC the author of the post has the final say on a suggested edit.
> If you believe the community decision on a suggested edit to one of your posts was wrong, you can override the outcome in certain cases. To do so, navigate to the edit review item from your notification, and click the button on the right side of the page (Approve if the edit was rejected, or Reject if it was approved). Upon doing this, the review decision is immediately reversed, as if the opposite review had happened.

@MartinSleziak That sounds reasonable
I do hope that happens. Thanks for letting me know!
