I'd guess that it is immediately clear to a set theorist or general topologist what the tag is for. But from the question What sentence or theorem should we passed on to the next generation if, in some cataclysm, all of the mathematics knowledge were to be destroyed I see that it is possible to interpret this completely differently :D In any case, the question is most likely to get closed/removed.

Q: What sentence or theorem should we passed on to the next generation if, in some cataclysm, all of the mathematics knowledge were to be destroyed

hyeonseon parkFeynman said, 'If, in some cataclysm, all of scientific knowledge were to be destroyed, and only one sentence passed on to the next generations of creatures, what statement would contain the most information in the fewest words? I believe it is the atomic hypothesis (or the atomic fact, or whatev...

In mathematics, a selection principle is a rule asserting the possibility of obtaining mathematically significant objects by selecting elements from given sequences of sets. The theory of selection principles studies these principles and their relations to other mathematical properties. Selection principles mainly describe covering properties, measure- and category-theoretic properties, and local properties in topological spaces, especially functions spaces. Often, the characterization of a mathematical property using a selection principle is a nontrivial task leading to new insights on the...
I have removed the deprecated tag from Bounds of the difference of a bounded band-limit: difference version of Bernstein inequality. One of the remaining tags is [tag:derivations - which has empty tag-info and looking at the posts in this tag, it seem that it is used for all sorts of things.

Q: Bounds of the difference of a bounded band-limit: difference version of Bernstein inequality

alwaystudentfor continues signal (function) we have Bernstein inequality : $$ |{df(t)}/dt| \le 2AB\pi $$ where $A=\sup|f(t)|$ and B is Bandwidth f(t), i.e. if $$ F(\omega ) = \int\limits_{ - \infty }^\infty {f(t)} {e^{j\omega t}}dt $$ then $$ \omega \ge 2\pi\ B \to F(\omega ) = 0 $$ the question is: ...

@MartinSleziak I see that Todd Trimble added the (paper-request) tag.

The question What are some good group theory references? has been bumped. Adding seems like a reasonable idea to me. Perhaps also remove ? Add ?

Q: What are some good group theory references?

Gabe CunninghamI'm curious about what books people use for a group theory reference. I don't currently own a dedicated group theory book, and I think I'd find such a book very helpful in my research. What is your favorite book on group theory? Please tell us why you like it -- and what sort of groups it focuses...

As usually, I'll mentioned that the tag seems to be used quite differently from what the tag-info says:
> Questions in which books play a key-role, such as questions on antique books, e-books, difference between various editions of a book, etc. For questions asking for recommendations of books on some subject the tag textbook-recommendation is often more suitable.
