Would adding on-hold-questions tag on meta be a reasonable thing to do? For example, the recent question: “on hold” without a chance to answer. But there are other questions where the tag could be used.

Or is it better to used the already existing closed-questions tag? (That seems quite reasonable to me. OTOH on Mathematics Meta there is on-hold-questions tag.)

Now there are 1000 questions with deprecated tags.

I have moved above 2k - but I guess the most recent upvotes I got will be reversed tomorrow by the script that checks for serial voting. (5 upvotes within one or two minutes seem suspicious to me.)

Of course, I might still occasionally ask for opinion on tagging specific question or on creating a new tag, as I did above.

@MartinSleziak My opinion is that closed-questions is good enough.
