Could the (unique) question tagged with the new tag spin be tagged spin-geometry ? I have no idea, I am just going by the name.
Just tagged a commutative algebra question power-series, which is quite comonly used for this purpose, too; but it made me wonder if we should split the comm alg usages from from more analytic ones.
@quid: For the particular case of spin cobordism, retagging with 'spin-geometry' would be adequate. However, one could just as well remove the tag 'spin'.
In fact, the geometric content of the question is minimal, and the question is really about spin cobordism, not spin geometry. So I think it would actually be better to simply remove the tag 'spin'.
@quid: By the way, concerning the tag 'divisors'. Thank you for your suggestions above. What do you think of using the newly created tag 'divisibility' for one of the meanings of the tag 'divisors'? And would it be appropriate to rename the other meaning to 'scheme-divisors'?
